BQ30 rounding and backing machine is developed to rounding
and backing spine of hard cover book. Trimmed thread sewed book
blocks which spines have been glued and dried are lay flat on
conveyor belt, and be turned-over 90 degree by a turning device
with book spine up, and then a sign-copy infeed device pushes
the book forward through transportation rail. After the book
is clamped and sent to rounding position, with two rounding
rollers’ pressing and rotating at both sides, its spine
is rounded. Sequentially, the book is sent to backing position,
and a backing module pressing-rolls the spine twice to make
the make the back that you want. Finally the book block is delivered
out. |

the adjustments are indicated by scales. The backing process
includes dual pressing-rolls. The machine has centralized lubrication
system, and Programmable Logical Controller and frequency-change
aped regulator. It is an ideal for making hard cover books. |
